Phillip was born on November 1st, 1851 in Carroll Co MS.  Phillip's father was Beverly Bush and his mother was Julia Ann Ivey.  His maternal grandparents were Reuben Ivey and Elizabeth  Hudson (Ivey). He had two half-brothers named Robert and Thomas.  He died at the age of 81 on July 28th, 1933 in Nursery Victoria Co TX.
