David was born on October 9th, 1880 in Gussettville, Live Oak Co Texas.  David's father was Michael Dolan and his mother was Cecilia Ellen O'Hara (Dolan).  His paternal grandparents were James Dolan and Mary (Nellie) Ellen Fox (Dolan). He had seven brothers and three sisters, named James, Tom, Michael, John, Willie, Hubert, Edward, Elizabeth, Ceclila and Nellie.  He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 45 on December 4th, 1925 in Texas.
