Mary was born on March 13th, 1844 in Leitrim Co. Ireland.  Mary's father was James Dolan and her mother was Mary (Nellie) Ellen Fox (Dolan).  Her maternal grandparents were Michael Fox and Mary McGloin. She had six brothers and a sister, named Michael, Jim, Patrick, Thomas, John, Peter and Margaret.  She was the third youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 37 on December 29th, 1881 in Gussettville, Live Oak Co Texas.
