Daniel was born in 1887 in TX.  Daniel's father was Michael Fox and his mother was Mary Chambliss (Fox).  His paternal grandparents were Francis Fox and Wife Unknown (Fox). He had eight brothers and two sisters, named John, William, Oscar, Mac, James, Fred, Louis, Robert, Martha and Mary.  He was the second youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 72 in 1959 in TX.
