William was born in 1867 in TX.  William's father was Michael Fox and his mother was Mary Chambliss (Fox).  His paternal grandparents were Francis Fox and Wife Unknown (Fox). He had eight brothers and two sisters, named John, Oscar, Mac, James, Fred, Louis, Daniel, Robert, Martha and Mary.  He was the second oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 85 in 1952 in TX.
