Adeline was born on November 12th, 1862 in Gussettville, Live Oak Co Texas.  Adeline's father was Bernard Brian Gallagher and her mother was Margaret B McGinnis.  Her maternal grandparents were James McGinnis and Margaret Peggy Fox (McGinnis). She had four brothers and seven sisters, named John, Bernard, Charles, Andrew, Mary, Katherine, Margaret, Alice, Amelia, Elizabeth and Frances.  She was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 59 on July 23rd, 1922 in Edroy, San Patricio, TX.
