Charles was born on August 12th, 1874 in TX.  Charles' father was Bernard Brian Gallagher and his mother was Margaret B McGinnis.  His maternal grandparents were James McGinnis and Margaret Peggy Fox (McGinnis). He had three brothers and eight sisters, named John, Bernard, Andrew, Mary, Katherine, Margaret, Adeline, Alice, Amelia, Elizabeth and Frances.  He was the third youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 40 on March 8th, 1915 in TX.
