Lawrence was born on October 30th, 1925 in TX.  Lawrence's father was William Earl Goynes and his mother is Rosie Sexton.  His paternal grandparents were Augustus Sanders Goynes and Ellen Elizabeth McMurray (Goynes); his maternal grandparents were Lawrence Sexton and Annie E Fox (Sexton). He had a brother named Peter.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 33 on May 30th, 1959 in Bee Co TX.
